Villa Perkouw

BSO Villa Perkouw is located at sports park “Over de Wetering”, right next to football club FC Perkouw on Dreef 73 in Berkenwoude. We are part of Waardse Kids Childcare, a certified organisation that has been providing childcare in the Krimpenerwaard and Lopik for more than 25 years. Our site is designed specifically for children aged 4 to 13 and has room for up to 20 children per group. Everything we do revolves around movement, play and discovery. Thanks to our location next to the sports park, we can use large outdoor fields, a real football club and all kinds of sports and play equipment. Children are free to choose their own activities: football, dodgeball, running, climbing or simply romping around in the fresh air. Our pedagogical staff guide when necessary, but above all give children space for their own initiative and to play together. After school our bus picks the children up from primary schools in Berkenwoude and the surrounding area. On arrival a healthy snack and drink are always ready. Then it is time to relax or take action, depending on what the child needs. We work with a clear daily rhythm in which rest and activity alternate. Parents follow their child’s experiences via our parent app Konnect: personal photos, short messages and all practical information in one convenient overview. Our site is modern and safely laid out with a large outdoor playground, a sports field and a cosy indoor space for crafts, games or simply taking a break. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued. That is why we pay close attention to what a child needs, encourage cooperation and teach children to take each other into account.
