Villa Oostwold

Welcome to Kindercentrum Villa Oostwold! Since 1 March 2008 we have been providing small-scale, homely childcare for children aged 0 to 4 at Hoofdstraat 232 in Oostwold. Our day-care centre is situated in a rural spot between Groningen and Leek/Drachten, with views of horses and sheep in the meadow. We follow the VVE programme ‘Pyramid for Day-care Centres’ to guide your child’s language and developmental stimulation. We are also an official BoekStart location: at intake you receive the book “Guess How Much I Love You” and we use the Bereslim programme for digital reading-aloud. Reading aloud is central to us, because you can never start too early. Our generous opening hours and small-scale set-up guarantee personal attention. We have a large outdoor area where children can play and explore safely. Communication with parents runs through the free KOVnet parent app: you receive photos, stories and practical information and can follow your child’s day from 3 p.m. Villa Oostwold is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 416941783, so you can apply for childcare allowance.
