Villa Kinderkresj

Welcome to KDV Villa Kinderkresj, located at Bloemendaele 2a in the heart of Heenvliet. Our daycare centre was purpose-built for babies and toddlers and radiates a warm, homely atmosphere. At the heart of the building you will find our spacious play hall: the place where larger activities take place and where children can play freely. The hall is laid out around a central kitchen so our qualified pedagogical staff are always close by. Villa Kinderkresj works with two clear age groups. Our baby group welcomes children from 3 months to about 1.5 years. This group has its own kitchen corner with fridge and microwave, so bottles and fresh fruit are always within reach. The toddler groups (1.5 – 4 years) each have two cosy bedrooms, their own toilet area with two low toilets and a small sink for washing hands. Every group also has its own changing corner with a step, ensuring safe and comfortable care. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff follow a clear weekly rota. Each day there are at least two staff members present per group, so every child receives the personal attention they deserve. We continually adapt our guidance to the children’s developmental level, using the Startblokken programme provided by the municipality of Nissewaard. Through meaningful play activities we stimulate language and thinking; we believe play is the best way to spark interest, enthusiasm and active involvement. Villa Kinderkresj is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. Our outdoor playground is fully fenced and can only be accessed through a gate that can be opened by adults. Supervision is constant, so children can romp safely in the fresh air. Feel free to drop by for a tour and experience the atmosphere of our location yourself!
