Villa Kakelbont

Welcome to Villa Kakelbont, our daycare center located at Vriezenveenseweg 178 in Almelo. We are housed in a beautiful, spacious villa next to care center Het Meulenbelt, just outside the Schelfhorst and Haghoek neighborhoods. This unique location allows us to provide childcare in a homely and warm environment, with spaces thematically decorated according to the Pyramid method. At Villa Kakelbont, we believe in the power of natural development. Our villa is situated in a tree-rich environment where children can play and discover to their heart's content in our discovery garden. Here, children can experience what it's like to climb a hill and then run or roll down. We regularly take the children into the garden to sow, rake, and water plants. Outdoor play is central to our approach! Our daycare works with different age groups to optimally support each child's development. We operate a baby group (0-2 years), a toddler group (2-4 years), and a vertical group (1-4 years). This structure allows us to specifically meet the needs of each child. Our professional team of pedagogical staff provides loving care and guidance, with personal attention being paramount. For the youngest ones, we provide all necessary facilities: from bottle feeding to changing facilities and quiet sleeping areas. For the toddler groups, we organize activities that match their developmental stage, using natural materials and the space our location offers. We also provide warm meals and ensure healthy snacks throughout the day. At Villa Kakelbont, we believe it's important that children feel safe and secure. Our location features secure access and we work closely with parents to provide customized care.
