Villa Kakelbont

Villa Kakelbont is a small and cozy daycare center located in a wooded area on van Peltlaan 269 in Nijmegen. We started small and have grown into a well-known name in the region. Here, a child can simply be a child. We provide care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years in a homely, safe environment where personal attention is central. Our daily schedule is flexible and tailored to each child's needs. We work with a fixed team of childcare professionals who know every child well. There is plenty of space to play, both indoors and outdoors. We go outside every day, even when it rains or is windy. Children often enjoy going outside in these conditions. We regularly make trips to the park or petting zoo. We believe it's important that parents can leave their child with us with peace of mind. That's why we maintain short communication lines and frequent contact with parents. We discuss daily how things are going and adjust to what the child needs. For new children, we use a calm settling-in process where we work together with parents to determine what works best. Villa Kakelbont meets all GGD requirements and operates according to a clear pedagogical policy. We offer care from 7:45 to 18:15, with the possibility of early care from 6:45. Half-day care is also available.
