Villa Kakelbont

Welcome to daycare Villa Kakelbont, a welcoming location of Stichting Quadrant Kindercentra in the Goverwelle district of Gouda. Our friendly building at Schubertplein 22 has plenty of windows at child height and offers ample space to play, explore and grow both indoors and outdoors. We welcome children from 0 to 4 years in a warm, safe environment where every child can develop at their own pace. At Villa Kakelbont we work with combination groups (0-3 years) and toddler groups (2-4 years). This setup provides peace for the youngest babies and toddlers and appropriate challenges for the toddlers. Two fixed pedagogical staff members care for the babies, ensuring each child's rhythm is closely followed. Our spacious groups and varied range of toys and materials invite play and development in all areas. The Kakeltuin is our pride: a naturally designed playground with a special baby garden, a water stream and a play hill. We go outside every day, because outdoor play is healthy and fun! In the central hall we even have a slide, a gym course and a reading garden on the stage. We also offer the preschool education program (VE) for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Through play we work on language development, early numeracy, motor development and social-emotional skills. This way our toddlers make a flying start at primary school. We also participate in BoekStart, a program together with the library that stimulates (pre)reading. This strengthens the bond between parent and child and is good for language development. We share daily activities through photos and messages in the Parent app, so you as a parent can always follow along. At Villa Kakelbont extended care is possible from 7:00 AM. This extra half hour can be used both structurally and incidentally. We are there for you and your child, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
