Villa Kakelbont De Zeerovers BSO

Welcome to BSO De Zeerovers, part of Villa Kakelbont childcare in Heerhugowaard. We provide professional after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 in a homely and safe environment at W.M. Dudokweg 43. Our location is centrally situated near main roads and the train station, making it ideal for working parents. BSO De Zeerovers is divided into three groups: the Treasure Seekers and Pirates for children aged 4 to 12, and the 10ers for children aged 7 to 12. We use a mixed-age group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This encourages social development and gives both younger and older children space to grow at their own level. Our pedagogical staff provide warm and involved guidance. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure so they are open to new experiences and learn more quickly. We use a positive approach and pay great attention to a healthy lifestyle. Exercise and healthy eating are central. We go outside every day, even in less favourable weather, and offer both a Nature BSO and a Sports BSO. During Nature BSO, children can build huts, observe animals and discover natural materials. During Sports BSO, movement is central: every four weeks we introduce a new sport such as football, hockey, rugby, tennis, boxing or bootcamp. Our opening hours are from 06:30 to 19:30, allowing us to respond flexibly to parents' needs. We provide care after school, but also before school, during study days and holidays. Warm meals and healthy snacks are included, as well as free pick-up and drop-off service to and from home. We charge no registration or enrolment fees and offer free settling-in sessions. You can also choose fixed, flexible or incidental care with no minimum commitment.
