Villa de Buitenkans

Welcome to Villa de Buitenkans, our daycare center located at Burgemeester Falkenaweg 44 in Heerenveen. We are a small-scale organization providing care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. At our center, everything revolves around the child and their 'hundred languages'. We believe that every child has everything within them to develop and discover the world. Our pedagogical approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, based on the competent child principle. We offer a diverse range of activities that allow children to discover who they are and what they can do. We do this by exploring together based on the child's interests. Our location features different age groups: a baby group for the youngest children, a toddler group, and preschool groups. We work with dedicated pedagogical staff who provide professional guidance for each child's development. Sustainability and ecological awareness are important values within our childcare. We believe it's important that children feel at home with us, can make friends, and can trust in their own abilities. Together we create a world where children can grow and flourish at their own pace and in their own way.
