Villa Boerderie

Welcome to Partou Villa de Boerderie! Our small-scale daycare is set in a beautiful, authentic farmhouse at Dorpsstraat 292 in Zwaag. The rural atmosphere is felt everywhere: from the sturdy beams to the spacious garden where children discover new adventures every day. We start early; our doors open at 7:00 a.m., allowing parents to begin their working day in peace. The youngest children play and sleep on the ground floor, making it easy to step outside whenever they wish, because outdoor time is just as important as indoor activities. Nature experience is central to our programme—rain or shine, we head outside and give children the space they need to grow. Healthy, tasty food is a priority. We serve fresh, warm meals daily and pay great attention to nutrition that supports each child’s development. Eating, tasting and discovering together are part of our daily rhythm. We also collaborate with Eva van Hoorn, a centre for midwifery, ultrasound and maternity care. By combining our pedagogical expertise with their knowledge of breastfeeding and postpartum care, we create a community platform where parents can meet and share experiences. We regularly host a baby & children’s café for this purpose. A wonderful place to grow together.
