Villa Bloom BV Wassenaar

Welcome to Villa Bloom BV Wassenaar, our intimate daycare centre located in the historic Kievietschool at Buurtweg 16 in the heart of Wassenaar. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0-4 years in one vertical group where children of different ages play and learn together. Our unique bilingual approach combines Dutch childcare with an English-language activity programme. English is offered playfully every day, with each group having at least one Dutch-speaking and one English-speaking childcare professional. Sustainability and connection with nature are central to our approach. Children learn from an early age to interact consciously with their environment by caring for our vegetable garden together, baking bread, and spending lots of time outdoors. Our location features a beautiful outdoor space where children can explore, play, and learn about everything that grows and blooms in nature. We exclusively use eco-friendly Muumi diapers, organic Derma Eco baby care products, and serve fresh organic meals from Moekes Maaltijd daily. Our pedagogical programme is age-appropriate within the vertical group. For the youngest ones, we provide quiet sleeping areas, customised bottle feeding, and gentle care. Toddlers and preschoolers have space to explore with sensory activities, music, books, and creative expression. We work with fixed mentors who serve as personal contacts for both child and parent. For outdoor excursions, we regularly visit the nearby forest and beach, taking advantage of Wassenaar's unique location between nature and city. At Villa Bloom Wassenaar, we believe it's important that children feel safe and secure while discovering their talents. Our homely atmosphere in the historic school building, combined with our green philosophy, creates the perfect environment for development in the early years. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 52 weeks per year.
