Welcome to Villa Bloom Benoordenhout, our intimate and homely daycare centre located at Utenbroekestraat 4 in the green Benoordenhout area. We provide care for up to 59 children aged 0 to 4 years in four horizontal groups, bringing together children of the same age. Our groups are named Cuttlefish and Dolphins (0-2 years) and Jellyfish and Whales (2-4 years). Each group is guided by experienced, bilingual early childhood professionals who create a warm, safe and stimulating environment. Sustainability and nature are at the heart of our approach. We serve organic meals from Moekes Maaltijd, use eco-friendly Muumi diapers and Derma Eco Baby care products. Our baby and toddler gardens, including a vegetable patch, offer plenty of space for outdoor activities and nature exploration. The location is fully bilingual (Dutch/English), and from 1 September 2025 this will be implemented even more intensively. In this way, children learn two languages in a playful and natural way from an early age. Our pedagogical vision focuses on developing self-confidence and curiosity. We believe in 'building lifelong self-learners' and offer age-specific programmes in which every child is given the space to grow at their own pace. A fixed mentor acts as a personal point of contact for parents and child, ensuring there is always a familiar face. Villa Bloom Benoordenhout is easily accessible by bike, car and public transport. We are located near international schools such as ISH and the British School, and close to parks and playgrounds. Parking is easy and we are only a few minutes from the A4, A12 and A13. Our daycare centre is open Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 18.30.
