Vespercare - SBO Universum

Vespercare – SBO Universum is our after-school care location at Th. Weeversweg 4 in Amsterdam-Noord. We provide specialised BSO+ for children who attend the adjacent School for Special Primary Education (SBO) Universum. This location is purpose-built for children with additional care needs and offers a safe, predictable and stimulating environment. Our pedagogical staff are specifically trained to work with children who need extra support. We work closely with the teachers of SBO Universum so that after-school guidance dovetails seamlessly with the school day. The group is small: a maximum of ten children per day. This allows us to give every child the individual attention they need. Activities are tailored to the experience, interests and developmental level of our target group. We offer quiet moments as well as play and movement. Structure and clarity are central: children know what to expect and therefore feel safe. Where necessary, we adapt materials or working methods so that every child can participate. Vespercare – SBO Universum is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 171406254. We are open on school days from the end of school until 6.30 p.m. For children aged 4 to 12 who need extra care and structure, this is the place to relax, play and develop after school.
