Veldhoven Roek

Daycare centre Veldhoven Roek is located on the ground floor of primary school Dick Bruna at Roek 19 in Veldhoven. We provide pre-school education (VE) for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler group is open 40 weeks per year, Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The actual VE programme runs from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Children with a VE indication attend four half-days, receiving 16 hours per week of development-focused activities targeting language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We follow the pedagogical policy plan of IK-OOK, placing each child's development at the centre. Our qualified staff closely monitor progress and tailor the programme accordingly. The collaboration with Dick Bruna primary school makes the building familiar to children and eases the transition to elementary education. Parents are actively involved in their child's development. We value open communication and see ourselves as an extension of home. Together we create a safe, stimulating environment where children can develop optimally.
