Welcome to KDV Suderhiem, a small-scale daycare centre located at ’t Suderhiem 35-10 in Drachten. We are part of VANDAAG Kinderopvang, a Frisian organisation that believes in providing a safe and stimulating environment where every child can discover and develop their unique talents. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide children aged 0 to 4 through natural play and educational activities. We offer a homely atmosphere that encourages children’s own initiative and uses controlled risky play to build self-confidence and explore boundaries. Our setting features a beautiful, spacious garden where children can run, explore and enjoy fresh air every day. Nature and sustainability are high on our agenda: we use sustainable materials wherever possible and introduce children to respect for nature in a playful way. KDV Suderhiem is a registered daycare centre for up to 32 children. We keep group sizes small to ensure every child receives the attention they deserve.
