Welcome to Vandaag KDV Opeinde, located at Healwei 3 in the heart of Opeinde. We are a small-scale daycare centre where a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 find a second home. Our KDV is part of VANDAAG Childcare, a Frisian organisation that provides care tailored to the child of today. Everything we do revolves around personal attention and a safe environment. We work with permanent, caring and experienced pedagogical staff who truly see every child. Our groups are horizontally arranged, allowing us to perfectly tailor our care and activities to your child’s age and developmental stage. We believe in the power of being outdoors. Whenever possible, we take the children outside to explore the wide world. Our own garden offers plenty of space to play, investigate and grow. We also work closely with the other partners in the building – such as the primary school and the after-school care – to ensure a continuous developmental line from 0-12 years. Pre-school education (VVE) is an important part of the day. We offer structured activities that stimulate language, numeracy and social skills through play. Think of story time, singing, sand and water play, and discovering seasons and nature. All in a calm, homely atmosphere where your child feels safe and secure. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm; by arrangement we can open from 6.30 am. We also remain open during school holidays, so you can always rely on us. You can choose full days, half days or flexible care – whatever suits you best. We believe it is important that your child can develop freely with us in the way that suits him or her best.
