Vandaag BSO De Greide

Welcome to Vandaag BSO De Greide, located at Buorrefinnewei 2 in the heart of Jistrum. We are part of Vandaag Kinderopvang, a Frisian organization that has been providing tailored childcare for over 25 years. Our after-school care is housed within De Greide primary school, together forming an Integral Child Center. This means children can walk straight to a familiar place after school where they are cared for by our dedicated, professional pedagogical staff. Everything we do revolves around fun and development. We offer a safe, playful and stimulating environment where children aged 4 to 12 can be completely themselves. Our doors are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30. With a maximum capacity of 17 children, we work in small, manageable groups where each child receives the attention they deserve. Our activity program is diverse and engaging. We use the DoenKids method, specially developed for after-school care. This method encourages children to choose their own activities and discover their interests. From creative craft projects to exciting outdoor adventures in our own playground, from sports and games to quiet corners for reading or building - there's always something to experience. We believe it's important that children can play and discover both indoors and outdoors. Our location is fully equipped to meet the needs of school-age children. We have a cozy space with different play areas, a creative table for crafts, a construction corner and a quiet reading area. The direct connection to De Greide primary school makes the transition from school to after-school care seamless. Children already know the spaces and feel immediately at home. As a parent, you can count on clear communication and involved staff. We work with a fixed team of pedagogical staff who know and understand each child personally. Together we create a second home where children love to come and where parents can bring their children with peace of mind.
