Fontein Buiten

Fontein Buiten is our after-school care for children aged 7 to 12, located inside the welcoming clubhouse of sports club DSV Concordia at Brasserskade 236 in Delft. We are part of Kindcentrum Fontein and provide a safe, sporty and challenging place for children after school and during holidays. Our location consists of two base groups: Voetballen (max. 10 children) and Combistars (max. 17 children). Indoors we use the club’s art studio on the first floor for creative activities and the boardroom as a quiet homework corner. Outdoors we have the unique advantage of the association’s sports fields; children who have signed an independence agreement may play there unsupervised. Around the corner lies the Delftse Hout recreation area, where we explore nature under staff guidance. At Fontein Buiten, ‘Sport and Play’ are central. We organise sporty workshops led by our own pedagogical staff and occasionally by external experts, letting children discover a variety of sports and develop their talents. Creative activities are also on offer, ensuring every child finds something they enjoy. Children help shape our programme through a children’s council that discusses room layout, holiday schedules and weekly activity plans. This encourages responsibility and participation. Our trained professionals support children in building independence and social skills within a safe, respectful environment where every child feels seen and confident to try new things. Fontein Buiten is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 14:15–18:30. On Wednesday, Friday and during school holidays we cooperate with our sister location Up Weidevogellaan. During holidays we are open 07:30–18:30. We look forward to welcoming your child to our sporty after-school world!
