Up Kinderopvang

Up Beetslaan is located at Beetslaan 97 in Rijswijk and provides after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. The site works closely with OBS Nicolaas Beets, which is within walking distance; our pedagogical staff collect the children after school and accompany them to the centre. Our BSO focuses on rest, play and development after a busy school day. We offer a homely group room where children can choose from different corners: a reading corner, a construction corner, a creative table and a place to relax. In addition, there is a spacious, green outdoor area with climbing frames, a sandpit and plenty of space for sports and movement activities. During the holidays we run themed weeks such as ‘Discover your talent’, ‘Outdoor adventurers’ or ‘Mini-chefs’. During these weeks we regularly take trips in the local area, for example to the Rijswijkse Bos, the library or a sports park. The cost of these excursions is included in the childcare rate. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and heard. Each group therefore has a permanent pedagogical employee who monitors the children’s progress and well-being. Parents can stay informed about daily experiences and photos via a parent portal. For children who need extra support, we work together with the school and, if necessary, external professionals.
