Up Hoornwijck

Up Hoornwijck is a vibrant after-school care (BSO) location in the Ypenburg district, situated at Laan van Hoornwijck 168 in The Hague. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic childcare professionals ensures every day is filled with warmth, safety and opportunities for children to relax, play and discover. After school, children are welcomed with a wide range of activities. We organise fun workshops tailored to the children's interests. For those seeking some quiet time, there is a chill room where they can rest or work quietly. Children who still have energy to burn can enjoy our outdoor play area, which offers multiple sports and outdoor play opportunities. We value outdoor movement and play, so there is plenty of space to run, climb and engage in active games. Up operates on a non-profit basis, committed to a future where all children can develop to their full potential. We believe every child has unique talents and provide the space for them to discover these through play. Our location is designed to challenge and stimulate children, helping them learn new skills with joy. We work with a consistent team of both experienced childcare staff and newcomers, creating a homely and stable environment. During school weeks, the BSO is open from the end of the school day until 18.30. During school holidays, we provide care from 7.30 to 18.30. For children aged 7 and older, holiday care is also available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Up's ILSY-plantsoen location. This ensures children remain active and in a familiar setting during holidays. At Up Hoornwijck, the joy of development is central.
