Kindcentrum Universum is located in the Grote Waal district of Hoorn, near the Grote Beer shopping center. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland and have been providing development-oriented childcare for children aged 0 to 13 for over 40 years. Our toddler group is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 and follows the Michaela Concept. In our toddler group, preschool education is central. We offer VVE programs where we pay extra attention to the development of children at risk of falling behind. Through thematic work, we stimulate language development and optimally prepare children for primary school. Our pedagogical staff work closely with primary school teachers, creating a smooth transition. The toddler group is open Monday through Friday mornings from 08:30 to 12:30. During school holidays, the group is closed. We work in small groups so that each child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our location has a safe and challenging play environment where children can play, discover and learn at their own pace. As an official Child Center, we work together with Stichting Kinderopvang Hoorn (SKH) and are affiliated with the SCIO Group. This means we can rely on a broad network of expertise and experience in both childcare and education. Our staff are professionally trained and regularly attend training to maintain the high quality of our care. At Kindcentrum Universum, we value parental involvement.
