UniKidz Bentinck

Welcome to UniKidz Bentinck, our small-scale after-school care located in the heart of Amsterdam West. We are situated at Bentinckstraat 78, on the ground floor of primary school De Catamaran, allowing children to join us safely right after school. The location accommodates up to 44 children aged 7 to 13 and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 200697377 since 4 September 2023. Our BSO is open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:30. The spaces are bright, freshly decorated and equipped with everything children need to relax after an intensive school day while also discovering new things. We work closely with the teachers of De Catamaran so that we can connect to what the children experienced during the day and provide extra stimulation where needed. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who organise a varied activity programme every afternoon. Think of sports and games, creative workshops, technology and nature projects, but also quiet moments with a book or board game. We follow UniKidz’s four development areas: movement, expression, nature & technology and social skills. In this way we stimulate each child’s talents in a playful manner.
