Welcome to De Ukke-Pukken, our intimate daycare center located at Vermeerstraat 1 in Dongen. We provide a homely environment where a maximum of nine children aged 0 to 4 years can play and grow together. As part of De Toverdroom, our close-knit team of childcare professionals cares for your child with love and attention every single day. At De Ukke-Pukken, we believe in the power of small-scale care. Our limited group size allows us to give genuine attention to each child and their unique development. We work with the recognized VVE program Uk & Puk, through which we stimulate your child's language skills and develop social-communicative abilities. We also pay attention to early mathematical orientation in a playful way that perfectly matches young children's world of experience. Our location is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years, where we guide different age groups separately. This means babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can each develop at their own pace with activities that precisely match their age and developmental stage. De Ukke-Pukken is not only intended for toddlers who will later attend OBS Westerkim, but welcomes all families from Dongen and the surrounding area. We work closely with OBS Westerkim, with whom we are located on the same premises. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition when your child takes the step to primary school. Through joint activities and sharing outdoor spaces, our preschoolers already get to know the school environment in a playful way. For communication with parents, we use the Parent Portal on Kindplanner for registrations and deregistrations. For interim messages about your child, you can send a direct message to the group. This way, you always stay informed about how your child experiences their day at De Ukke-Pukken.
