Ska Kindcentrum Uit de Kunst

Ska Kindcentrum Uit de Kunst is a daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4, located in the vibrant ICOON building in the heart of Vathorst-Centrum, Amersfoort. We provide care for up to 92 children in a homely and safe environment where every child can develop in their own unique way. Our pedagogical approach focuses on stimulating curiosity and discovering the world through play and interaction. Behind our centre lies a beautiful discovery garden specially designed for our youngest children. Babies have their own enclosed baby meadow where they can safely lie on soft grass, feel the wind on their faces and listen to the rustling leaves. Toddlers and preschoolers have plenty of space to climb, build with sand and water, and experiment with natural materials. In spring, children watch flowers bloom; in summer, we pick herbs from our vegetable garden, and in autumn we collect acorns and leaves for craft projects. We regularly make trips to nearby playgrounds, the adjacent Vathorst shopping centre and Amersfoort Vathorst station. With our wagon or cargo bike, we also love visiting the petting zoo, where children meet animals and learn about care. These activities contribute to their social and emotional development and stimulate their curiosity about the world around them. Our team of dedicated childcare professionals provides a warm and safe environment every day where children can flourish. We work with horizontal groups, bringing children together in age groups. This provides peace and familiarity and allows us to tailor activities to the child's developmental stage.
