Tzemach Hasadeh

Tzemach Hasadeh is a Jewish after-school care facility (BSO) located at Spaarwaterstraat 200 in The Hague. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13 years, after school hours and during school holidays. Our goal is to strengthen Jewish identity by allowing children to explore Jewish traditions, values and customs in a playful and safe environment. Our location is part of the Tzemach Hasadeh Foundation, established in 1997 with the mission: guiding children in their first steps into society from their own Jewish identity. We believe every child is unique and a precious gift that should be received with love and respect. Our pedagogical staff are skilled, dedicated and serve as role models for the children. We work in small groups so that each child receives the attention they deserve. The atmosphere is warm, homely and Jewish-inspired. We provide a calming environment where children can play, discover and unwind after a busy school day. During holidays and study days we organize additional activities aligned with the Jewish calendar and traditions. Tzemach Hasadeh literally means 'the crop of the field'. Just as young plants must be carefully nurtured to grow, we guide children on their path to maturity. We welcome all Jewish children in The Hague and surrounding areas, regardless of background or level of religious observance.
