Twinkel Gouda BSO Schateiland

Welcome to Twinkel Gouda BSO Schateiland, located within Het Schateiland primary school at Mercatorhof 7 in Gouda. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a familiar and safe environment. Our BSO is housed within the school building, allowing children to transition directly from their classrooms to our care. Our experienced pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a wonderful afternoon. We offer many opportunities to play and engage in creative activities. At our BSO, children are central: they can be themselves, relax and enjoy their free time. Together with the children, we explore activities focused on relaxation, experiencing and discovering, both indoors and outdoors. The BSO consists of two classrooms accommodating up to 40 children. We work with smaller groups depending on age composition, with one supervisor for every 10 children. We have our own group space where children can eat and drink, participate in activities, and relax. Additionally, children can play outside on the familiar school playground or take part in sports and movement activities in the gym or playroom. Our unique 'Sports and Movement' group gives children the opportunity to be active after school. Various sports are offered and workshops are provided in the field of sports and movement. During school holidays, we organize all kinds of fun activities and excursions tailored to the children's ages. We offer both before-school care from 7:30-8:30 AM and after-school care directly after school until 6:30 PM. We are also open during teacher training days and school holidays from 7:30 AM-6:30 PM. We personally pick up the youngest children from their classrooms, while older children make their own way to the BSO.
