Trias

Welcome to Trias, our daycare centre located in MFC De Bogen at Triasplein 7 in the Drielanden district of Harderwijk. We are part of SKH-Harderwijk and have been providing care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years since January 1st, 2019, in two horizontal groups: Tamboerijntje and Twinkel. From January 2020 onwards, both groups are open every morning. At Trias, we follow the VVE programme (Pre- and Early School Education), which means we specifically stimulate your toddler's development and lay a solid foundation for a smooth transition to primary school. Our certified pedagogical staff offer a varied programme every morning that perfectly matches the world of experience of children aged 2-4. Our day starts with free play, followed by the theme circle at 9:00 AM. We work in two small groups so that each child receives the attention they deserve. During circle time, we welcome everyone and start with a challenging activity that connects to the current theme. Afterwards, there is plenty of opportunity for free play in our different play corners: a reading corner, car corner, home corner, dress-up corner and a theme corner such as a shop. Children can choose from various materials such as Duplo, blocks, puzzles and a train track. In small groups, we also offer targeted activities that perfectly match the theme. Think of singing and making music, movement games, reading books that fit the theme, and crafts. We also pay attention to special moments such as birthdays and the birth of a sibling. After tidying up together, we gather in the big circle where we eat fruit, drink, sing and read stories. When the weather is nice, we play outside in our own playground. Children play in the sandbox, slide down the slide, cycle, scoot and chalk on the playground. When the weather is less favourable, we stay inside for creative activities such as clay and crafts.
