Welcome to Trema Kinderopvang Werkendam Richter, a cosy and green daycare centre in the heart of Werkendam offering professional and loving care for children aged 0 to 4. Our small-scale setting ensures that our pedagogical staff are familiar faces to every child. We work with age-specific groups, giving the youngest babies the rest they need, toddlers plenty of challenges, and children aged 3+ a playful preparation for primary school. Located at Richter 93, we accommodate up to 57 children and have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 102772344) since 1 January 2010. From 2025 onwards, we join forces with primary school Het Baken to form the first Child Centre in the municipality of Altena. Together we organise joint activities and maintain close communication about each child’s development, ensuring a smooth transition to school. We provide pre-school education (VE) and operate an all-inclusive hourly rate covering a healthy lunch, fresh fruit, nutritious snacks, baby formula (choice of two follow-on milks), nappies, and even extra activities and excursions. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7.15 am to 6.15 pm; extended care is available from 7.00 am and until 6.30 pm.
