Tovertuin

Kinderdagverblijf Tovertuin is centrally located in the flower district of Hilversum-Zuid. Our building is spacious and completely on one level, allowing children to play safely everywhere. The group rooms are spacious and bright and almost all border the large garden that surrounds the building. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years old. For babies and toddlers from 0 to 2 years, we have three and a half groups available. For children from 2 to 4 years, there are three toddler groups. All group rooms adjoin the hallway and the central play hall, where children from different groups can play together. Our pedagogical staff work with a different theme each month, so that children learn more about it in a playful way. We look at what the children indicate and what suits the situation of the day. In our hall you will find a playhouse, construction materials, a children's piano for musical development, and a sand and water table. We also have an atelier where creative activities take place. Outdoor play is very important to us. Our large garden invites diverse free play with natural materials such as water, stones, branches, sand and grass. There is a rock garden, playhouse, bike path and theater gazebo. For the youngest children we have a separate baby garden with a sensory walking and cycling path and a soft artificial grass area. We go outside daily, even in a bit of rain or cold - we just dress warmly and stomp through puddles in our boots!
