Tovertuin

Welcome to De Tovertuin, our daycare centre located in the Rijkerswoerd district of south Arnhem. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely environment where every child is free to be themselves. Our location has a maximum capacity of 46 places, spread across four groups: two vertical baby-toddler groups (0-3 years) with a quiet floor area for the very youngest, a dedicated toddler group (2-4 years) featuring an exciting car and home corner, and a VVE toddler-work group (2-4 years) that gives extra attention to language development in line with Early Childhood Education principles. Our large, natural outdoor playground invites children to explore and romp around. We love to make use of the wooded surroundings of Rijkerswoerd; with our kiddy-bus we visit local shops and regularly set off on foot. In the central hall the groups come together to dance, do gym or simply play together. Children are free to wander into other groups, allowing them to meet new friends and staff members. In this way they grow up in a familiar community where everyone knows each other. At De Tovertuin we believe it is important that children are given space to move, investigate and learn from one another.
