Toverspiegel

Welcome to daycare Toverspiegel, a homely and small-scale Gro-up centre located right in the Wateringse Veld neighbourhood. Our front door at Osloweg 11 in The Hague is open to children from 0 to 4 years old. The moment you step inside you will feel the warm, familiar atmosphere. We work with two clearly defined age groups: a calm baby group and a toddler group. This way every child receives the attention and stimuli that match his or her stage of development. Playing and learning go hand in hand at Toverspiegel. Each month we choose a new theme that returns in all kinds of activities. Children can build in the construction corner, cuddle dolls in the home corner or get creative in the studio corner. For toddlers we offer pre-school education following the VVE programme De Piramide. In a playful way they practise important skills such as listening, telling, singing, moving and crafting, making the transition to primary school much easier. We believe it is important for children to discover the world around them. During holidays we therefore organise great outings: a day at the beach, a treasure hunt in the park or forest, or an interactive music lesson. Sometimes we even bring reptiles to the centre so the children can see and feel up close how special these animals are. We also take part in the local Wateringse Veld Running Festival; a festive day on which the children show how sporty they are. Parents are always welcome. We regularly organise parent-and-child moments where you can meet other parents in an informal way and play together with your child, always under the guidance of our pedagogical staff.
