Toverkunst

Kinderdagverblijf Toverkunst is a daycare center (KDV) operated by gro-up in the Nesselande district of Rotterdam. We are located in a modern building at Marcel Duchampplein 130, where we provide 160 childcare places for children aged 0 to 4 years. As part of gro-up, a powerful network of maternity care, childcare, community work and youth support, we support children, families and neighborhoods from six months before birth until the moment someone can fully stand on their own two feet. At our daycare center, children can play all day long, both alone and together with peers. This is not only fun but also educational for every child. We collaborate with primary schools Passe-Partout and Het Tangram, and the Center for Youth and Family is located opposite our location. We also regularly work together with daycare centers Kleinkunst and Kunstenmakers, for example when we jointly offer judo lessons or conclude a theme together. We have beautiful, bright spaces in which we have created various play corners. Our different, cozy gardens offer plenty of opportunities to cycle, slide, play in the sandbox, chalk on the pavement or blow bubbles to their heart's content. We believe it is important that children can play outside as much as possible and discover nature. For the little ones, we provide all necessary care, including diapers, bottle feeding and care products. We have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep peacefully. For older children, we work with the Pre- and Early School Education program Uk & Puk, where we focus on language development, motor skills, social skills and early numeracy. This way, your child is playfully prepared for primary school. We find the social aspect very important and therefore ensure fixed rituals and shared moments. Our pedagogical staff pay close attention to what each child needs and stimulate development in a playful way. We would love to give you and your child a tour to get acquainted!
