Toppers

BSO Toppers is located in primary school De Tweesprong at Duivenkamp 545 in Maarssen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 8 years. The location features two rooms equipped with different play opportunities for younger and older children. We have a large outdoor area adjacent to the BSO where children can play to their heart's content. Each month we work around a new theme. Based on this theme, we organize daily activities such as creative craft projects, sports challenges, cozy reading moments and fun games. Of course, there is also plenty of room for free play. For older children, there is a quiet corner where they can do their homework. We work closely with primary schools in the area. Children from De Tweesprong (Duivenkamp), Kameleon (Duivenkamp), De Kristal and Kameleon (Kamelenspoor) are welcome with us. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children from these schools after school. Our approach is based on the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. We believe it's important that children feel comfortable first, because then space for development arises. We give children confidence and space to discover and be curious. Playing is discovering and learning. Therefore, we actively offer an inspiring and challenging environment. Our care is a mini-society where we care for each other and the world around us.
