Welcome to Skar Tof, located in the Rijkerswoerd district at Pythagorasstraat 9 in Arnhem. Our daycare centre offers professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. We are housed in a spacious, bright location within primary school De Rank, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. At Skar Tof, we believe in the power of learning through play. Our space is designed with various play corners that invite exploration and development. There is a cosy home corner where children can role-play, a construction corner full of challenging materials to get creative with, and a quiet reading corner with books that stimulate language development. We work with small groups, allowing for plenty of individual attention for each child. Outdoor play is just as important to us as indoor activities. Our sunny, sheltered outdoor play area is equipped with a sandbox, slide and plenty of room to run and play. With bikes, cars and sidewalk chalk, the children create the most beautiful creations every day and discover the world around them. Collaboration with parents and schools is central. We work closely with Evangelische Basisschool De Rank and Basisschool Pythagoras Pieter de Jong. This creates a familiar environment where children feel safe and secure. We offer pre-school education (VE), which playfully stimulates the development of language, numeracy and social skills. At Skar Tof, everything revolves around fun, development and trust.
