Welcome to Tijd4Kids, our warm and small-scale daycare centre at Klokkenlaan 1111 in the green heart of the De Hambaken district in ’s-Hertogenbosch. We are part of Kanteel childcare and have been providing loving care to a maximum of 26 children aged 0 to 4 since 2005. Our home is located in the same building as care centre De Hooghe Clock, which makes unique encounters possible. Everything we do revolves around personal attention and familiarity. We work with two vertical core groups – the Boefjes and the Ukkies – in which babies and toddlers play and learn together. Each group has twelve regular children plus a flexible spot, so every child gets to know our faces and quickly feels at home. Our pedagogical staff follow each child at his or her own pace and tailor activities to what the child and the group need. Playing is learning, and we do that every day anew. Our spacious, challenging outdoor area invites exploration and movement. We play outside in our own garden every day and regularly take trips to Rompert Park or the petting zoo. A special highlight is our weekly visit to the residents of Vivent De Hooghe Clock. Together with the toddlers we sing songs, do crafts, do puzzles or simply have a party. These encounters are not only fun, but also stimulate the social and language development of our children. We offer a broad development-oriented programme with well-being and involvement at its core. Language development receives extra attention, especially for children who do not yet speak Dutch well. We work thematically, read aloud, sing songs and use every opportunity to learn new words. Creative expression, motor development and social skills are also fully covered. We use natural materials such as sand, water, paint and clay, and occasionally organise a toy-free week to stimulate imagination and creativity. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. We provide healthy meals, fresh fruit and snacks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. For the very youngest we naturally arrange nappies, wipes, bottle feeding and all care products. Each child has a fixed mentor who closely monitors well-being and development and discusses this with parents via our parent portal and during personal conversations. We like to take time for every child and every parent. Our team is ready every day with passion and dedication to give your child the best start, together with you.
