Welcome to Thuishuis Klein is Fijn at Lindenlaan 14 in Sauwerd, a loving place where children aged 0 to 4 feel safe and at home. Our Thuishuis is part of Thuishuis Klein is Fijn B.V., a small-scale organization that has been providing personal and affordable childcare in the north of the Netherlands since 2009. Our Sauwerd location is situated in the village center, right next to primary school De Wiekslag. We offer care in vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This approach stimulates social development and creates a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. At Thuishuis Klein is Fijn, everything revolves around small-scale care and personal attention. We work with permanent staff who truly know and understand each child. Our pedagogical staff are trained according to the guidelines of Stichting Thuishuis and all have a background in Social Pedagogical Work. We devote a lot of attention to singing songs, reading aloud, crafting and outdoor play in our safe, green garden. These activities are not only fun, but also contribute to the children's language and motor development. For the very youngest, we have a separate bedroom where peace and regularity are central. The space is furnished with warm colors and soft materials to create a cozy environment. We also have a playground where children can safely romp and discover nature. We believe it's important for children to spend as much time outdoors as possible, so they can burn off energy and learn about the world around them through play. Our childcare is open 47 weeks a year from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. By arrangement, childcare hours can be adapted to your situation. We have a minimum booking of five hours per week and work with flexible contracts. Thanks to childcare allowance, our care is very affordable for many parents.
