Welcome to Thuishuis de Goudvinkjes, our small-scale daycare located in the heart of Vinkhuizen-Noord, Groningen. We provide care for up to 15 children aged 0–4 in a homely, familiar setting where every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our approach is simple yet powerful: small groups, familiar faces, and hourly billing. You only pay for the hours you actually use, and your child always sees the same caring staff. I’m Priscilla, owner and lead pedagogical employee, and I am on the group every single day. With an HBO degree in Pedagogy and many years of experience in childcare, I guide the children playfully through their development. For our youngest guests we offer a development-oriented programme and government-subsidised Early Childhood Education (VVE). This programme helps toddlers build language, numeracy and social skills through play, so they start primary school with confidence. Activities are tailored to each child’s current abilities and gently challenge them to explore new things. Our setting inside community centre De Goudvink gives us access to a large, secure outdoor playground and allows us to organise joint activities with other users of the building. Free parking is available right outside. We are open 50 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00.
