The Estate Pre-School

Welcome to The Estate Pre-School, located in the leafy Benoordenhout district of The Hague. Our listed building at Jozef Israëlsplein 36 was fully renovated in 2014 and is now regarded as one of the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly childcare centres in the Netherlands. Set within over 3,000 m² of landscaped gardens designed for different age groups, we provide a safe and inspiring environment for children aged 2½ – 4 years. Our Pre-School runs morning sessions only, Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 12:30 during school weeks. Children are placed in horizontal groups with peers of a similar age. The outdoor area is divided into age-appropriate zones and includes a tree house, wooden bridge, sports court, vegetable gardens, trampoline, survival trail and a small-animal corner, allowing children to explore nature and develop motor skills through play. A full-time chef prepares fresh, organic and nutritious meals and snacks daily in our fully equipped kitchen. Parents can enjoy a self-service coffee corner with espresso machine and a dedicated parents’ room with Wi-Fi, making drop-off and pick-up moments relaxed and sociable. We follow a bilingual English–Dutch approach and are known for our personal attention and very high safety and hygiene standards.
