Welcome to after-school care De Terebint in Wamel! We are a BSO located on the grounds of primary school De Terebint at Stationsstraat 7. Our location offers a homely and safe environment where children aged 4 to 12 can play, relax and discover new things after school. At BSO De Terebint we have various play areas where children can play safely and challengingly. We provide building materials for creative constructions, a reading corner for quiet moments and a home corner for imaginative role play. Our activities are very diverse: from crafts, making music and drama to movement, reenacting stories and drama. Flower arranging, jigsaw puzzles and ceramics are also among the possibilities. We are open to ideas that children come up with themselves – anything goes with us. We play outside on a large playground, where we can be found almost every day. We take the seasons and holidays into account and tailor our offer to the different ages of the children. Every day there are various group activities on the program. Children can choose whether to participate or prefer to do something for themselves – we fully respect their choice. For the oldest children we have set up a special 8+ corner, where they can withdraw or participate in activities that match their age and interests. We pick up children after school from primary school De Terebint and other schools in the area, so that parents can work without any worries while their children are cared for safely and enjoyably.
