Welcome to Teddy Kids KDV Zeemanlaan, a warm and vibrant international daycare in the heart of Leiden where children aged 0-4 grow, learn and flourish in a bilingual environment. Since 2011, our Zeemanlaan 22A location has provided premium childcare for 72 children, thoughtfully arranged in horizontal age groups: babies (0-1.5 years) and toddlers (1.5-4 years). Each group is guided by both a native Dutch and English-speaking pedagogical staff member, ensuring your child is immersed in two languages from day one. Our qualified, energetic and caring teachers – 50% of whom are permanent staff – design a rich educational and entertaining programme that emphasises language development, music, arts and outdoor discovery. We implement VVE early childhood education, using play-based methods to nurture your child's development. Every day includes singing English and Dutch songs, reading from our extensive library, and creating themed crafts that spark imagination and learning. Our youngest members enjoy peaceful nap rooms with individual cribs, where routine and tranquility support healthy sleep habits. Toddlers explore our spacious garden with natural play equipment, building sandcastles, climbing and discovering nature's wonders. We serve warm, nutritious meals accommodating all dietary needs – vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free and lactose-free options are all happily provided. Flexibility defines us: half-day sessions are available, days can be swapped with just one day's notice, and there's no cancellation period. We're open 7:00-19:00 to match your schedule. Our parent app keeps you connected with daily photos and updates about your child's adventures and milestones. At Teddy Kids KDV Zeemanlaan, we celebrate diversity.
