Tante Toos

Welcome to Partou daycare centre Tante Toos at Jachtlaan 7 in the heart of Delfzijl! Being here feels like visiting your favourite aunt: familiar, warm and full of discovery. Our bright, sunny location has five group rooms, three of which are dedicated to children aged 0-4. Thanks to the central location – close to a small animal park, the library, supermarket and schools – we are easy to reach for parents living and working in Delfzijl and the surrounding villages. At Tante Toos we work with horizontal groups: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are in separate rooms so each age receives exactly the attention it needs. Still, our doors are often open: children who wish may take a peek at another group. This way they learn from each other and build self-confidence. Our two large outdoor play areas and our own discovery garden offer plenty of space to run, garden, build and experiment. We follow the fixed daily rhythm of Partou: start with free play, then enjoy fruit together, read or sing, go outside or do a creative activity, have lunch and rest time, play some more and go home. Babies follow their own rhythm; we adapt to them. We love excursions: we walk to the library for a story time, visit the supermarket to buy ingredients for a cooking activity, or take an autumn walk to collect leaves and chestnuts – all within 1,000 metres of our door. Healthy food is a given: fresh meals every day, lots of vegetables and fruit, water, tea or milk. Does your child have an allergy or dietary wish? We are happy to think along and adjust our offer. Nappy changes, bottle feeding, sleep routines and potty training are arranged in consultation with you. Through the Partou parent app we keep you informed about naps, meals and the latest milestones. You can also book or swap extra days when space is available. Our team consists of qualified pedagogical staff supported by permanent pedagogical coaches.
