Tante Muis

Welcome to Het Huis van Tante Muis, our daycare centre at Badweg 20 in Loppersum. Since September 2012 we have been offering small-scale, home-like childcare for children aged 0 to 4 under the wings of Tante Muis. Everything we do revolves around creating a familiar and safe place where your child can be themselves and grow and flourish at their own pace. We work with one vertical group: all children from 0 to 4 years are together. This way the youngest learn from the oldest and the oldest develop their caring skills. Our pedagogical staff really know each child; thanks to the small scale they can fully respond to the needs and development of your son or daughter. Flexibility, openness and cosiness are central to this. Our space is furnished as a warm living room with fixed corners for play, rest and discovery. We offer a safe environment in which risky play is allowed, so that children develop self-reliance and self-confidence. We spend a lot of time outside every day; the garden borders directly on our house and invites running, climbing and nature exploration. When the child is 3.9 years old, we carefully prepare the transition to school with a transfer form and a personal final interview with parents.
