IKC Talentencampus Eigen Wijs (KDV)

Talentencampus Eigen Wijs is a public Integrated Child Centre in Leeuwarden where daycare, preschool and education work closely together under one roof. Our daycare offers childcare for children aged 0-4 in a brand-new building on Verdistraat. We believe every child has unique qualities and abilities, and we seek to discover what each child needs. Our qualified pedagogical staff build warm relationships with your child and provide a safe, enjoyable and challenging environment where your child can develop optimally. We work with four age groups, each with their own space in the building. The youngest babies rest in quiet bedrooms with cribs and changing tables, while toddlers and preschoolers can play in spacious, bright group rooms. Throughout the centre you'll find discovery corners: a reading nook with soft cushions, a construction area with wooden blocks, a creative corner with paint and clay. In our kitchen we regularly bake pancakes together or make healthy smoothies. Children learn playfully about tastes, smells and cooperation. Outside is a large, secure playground with sandbox, slide, swing and a vegetable garden where children grow their own vegetables and flowers. We often go on nature discovery trips or visit the library or petting zoo. Our goal is to make children curious and let their talents flourish, just as our motto says: "together where possible, separate where necessary".
