't Vierschip

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of ’t Vierschip in Arnemuiden! We are located inside Kindcentrum ’t Vierschip at Oostgat 15-17, where childcare and education are united under one roof—familiar for children and practical for parents. After a full day at school, nothing beats relaxing and playing with peers. Once all children have arrived, we start with a shared moment for a drink and a bite. Then the fun begins: romping together on our playground with its wooden ship and tall mast, jumping over tree trunks and balancing on planks by the water. We organise scavenger hunts around the local playgrounds and regularly visit the deer at the Singel. Close cooperation with local sports clubs—such as korfball club TOP Arnemuiden—means we join in clinics and sporty activities. Our programme is built around four fixed themes: sport & play, art & culture, technology and nature. Within these themes we craft beautiful creations, bake sand pies in the big sandpit and invent new games. Children are always free to choose what they feel like doing that day. During school holidays our pedagogical staff turn every day into a real celebration—after all, it’s holiday time! Early birds can also join our before-school care (VSO) from 07:30 until school starts, so parents can get to work on time. For all care moments we use the digital parent portal KidsKonnect, where we share photos and short reports so you can see what your child is experiencing anytime, anywhere. ’t Vierschip is a close-knit location with a permanent team. The atmosphere is friendly and all children play with and care for one another. We look forward to welcoming you and your child!
