't Turfschip

Welcome to KOSMO ’t Turfschip, our daycare centre in the heart of Langeveen. We are located in the multi-purpose building ‘De Gaarf’ at Kerklaan 2a, right next to Mariaschool. Our facility provides day-care for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe and homely environment. Upon entering, you walk through the general hall into our own corridor. On the right is the spacious, bright day-care room where our youngest children play, sleep and develop. The groups are small and manageable; we work with a maximum of 16 places, so every child receives the attention they deserve. The interior is warm and inviting, with different corners such as a reading corner, construction corner and home corner. This set-up encourages imaginative play and offers quiet moments when a child needs to withdraw. Our outdoor area is at the front of the building and is specially designed for the very youngest. The young children have their own enclosed play area where they can romp undisturbed. They bake cakes in the sandpit, play in the playhouse or cycle along the paved path. The play area is safely fenced and offers plenty of space to move and discover nature. We work with Early Childhood Education (ECE). Children who need extra stimulation receive targeted activities. Our pedagogical staff closely observe each child and tailor the offer to what the child needs. Each child has a fixed mentor, so a familiar bond develops and parents always have a fixed point of contact. Our opening hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. If your working hours require it, we can open earlier or close later. We are located in the middle of the neighbourhood, easily accessible via the car park on Hardenbergerweg, so drop-off and pick-up run smoothly.
