't Stekkie

Welcome to ’t Stekkie, our intimate preschool located in the heart of Zandvoort. We are based in the OBS De Zeevonk school building on the edge of the dunes, where the sea and nature are literally around the corner. This unique location not only offers our toddlers a safe and familiar environment, but also the opportunity to become acquainted with the school building at an early age. This way, they can confidently transition to the kindergarten classes later on. Our preschool is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This provides recognition and stimulates development at the right level. We offer pre-school education (VE), where we playfully work on language development and other skills that are important for the transition to primary school. We gratefully make use of the facilities that the school building offers us. The children can play in the large garden adjacent to the dunes, where they become acquainted with nature and the seasons. The gymnasium, library and vegetable garden of the school are also regularly part of our program. This way, toddlers learn through play in a familiar environment. At ’t Stekkie, fun in play and development is central. We offer a warm, safe place where children can grow at their own pace. Parents can come to us for both half-day and full-day care, and thanks to our registration in the National Childcare Register, childcare allowance is possible.
