't Sprongetje

Welcome to daycare centre 't Sprongetje, located at Prins Clausstraat 2e in the heart of Zaltbommel. We are a small-scale daycare facility where up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 find a safe and familiar second home. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff gives each child the personal attention they deserve, in a homely atmosphere where development is central. At 't Sprongetje we work with the recognised Early Childhood Education (ECE) method Uk & Puk. This method stimulates young children's language and cognitive development in a playful way, based on the child's world of experience. We offer horizontal groups, so children play and learn together in age groups. This provides calm, recognition and a predictable daily routine that young children need. Our location is spacious with various play and development areas. For the very youngest we have a quiet baby corner with soft colours and comfortable sleeping places. Toddlers can let off steam in the creative corner, at the construction corner or in the reading corner with picture books. We work a lot with themes that connect to the children's world of experience, such as seasons, animals and emotions. We find it important that parents and children quickly feel at home. Therefore, we work with a fixed pedagogical employee per child, who gets to know the child well and closely follows development. We regularly discuss with parents how things are going and tailor our approach to the needs of the child and the family.
