't Schrijverke

Welcome to daycare centre ’t Schrijverke, a small-scale location of Kanteel Childcare located at Patagonstraat 1 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Here, children aged 0 to 4 have all the space they need to discover their talents, make friends, and learn new things. We work in vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. For the youngest ones, we have a separate development space to ensure they receive the attention they need. Our pedagogical staff are ready to challenge children with activities tailored to their developmental stage. Think of building a large train track, solving a difficult puzzle together, or singing and dancing. We take all the time needed for this. We work thematically and follow a consistent daily routine, with rest, regularity, and recognition at its core. This helps children feel safe and allows them to develop optimally. At ’t Schrijverke, we value strong collaboration with parents. We keep parents informed of daily developments through our parent app and regularly organise parent meetings. Twice a year, we also host parent evenings so parents can meet each other and share their child’s experiences. We celebrate together and organise fun outings, with parental involvement at the heart of it all. Our location features a safe outdoor space where children can play and explore to their heart’s content. We provide tailored care, from nappy changes and bottle feeding to supporting toilet training. All in a homely and familiar environment, where every child is given the space to be themselves and grow.
