't Planzoentje

Stichting Kinderopvang ’t Planzoentje is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located at Singel 153A in Schiedam. Since 1989, we have provided care for children aged 4 to 12 in a homely and safe environment that feels like an extension of home. Led by head supervisor Simone Oranje, we work with a dedicated team of pedagogical staff, interns and volunteers. We use a mixed-age group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. Our BSO is open on school days for before-school care (VSO), after-school care (NSO), holiday care and ADV-days. Opening hours are flexible and can be adjusted in consultation with parents. We accommodate a maximum of 22 children per day, allowing for individual attention and personal development. Communication with parents is essential: daily handovers take place at pick-up and drop-off, and we organize parent evenings at least twice a year. We provide a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe and comfortable. Our approach focuses on providing structure, peace and regularity, so that children can develop optimally. For registration, we conduct an intake interview with a tour, after which the child can be definitively enrolled. More information can be found on our website.
