't Muizenholletje

Peuteropvang 't Muizenholletje is located on the ground floor of community centre De Hezebrink in the heart of Emst, at Dominee van Rhijnstraat 69. We offer a safe, small-scale setting where toddlers aged 2 to 4 can grow through play. Our spacious group room is divided into several play corners: a home corner with a brand-new play kitchen, a creative corner for crafts and painting, and a discovery corner with a water table and sensory bin. The large garden adjoining the building invites children to run, climb and build sandcastles. We work thematically; every few weeks one topic is central. Recently we celebrated the book “Dotties eieren” with a sea of little fish in the group, baked bread during the theme “We are bakers!” and learned about traffic by playing with cars and road sections. The oldest toddlers visit primary school De Sprenge four times a year to become playfully acquainted with the school environment. Guests such as maternity nurses and pharmacy staff drop by to let the children discover new professions. Our pedagogical staff guide horizontal groups: children of the same age sit together. This allows us to tailor activities precisely to their developmental stage. We offer early childhood education programmes that stimulate language, numeracy and social skills through play. Half-day or full-day places are available, and fruit, drinks and a bread meal are included. At 't Muizenholletje we believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued. We work closely with parents and tailor our approach to what the child needs. Together we create a warm, challenging environment in which toddlers can grow with pleasure.
