't Kruimeltje

Welcome to ’t Kruimeltje, our small-scale toddler care centre in the heart of Ede. We are located in the main building of primary school De Lettertuin at De Ruyterstraat 1, where we offer a safe, home-like environment for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. At ’t Kruimeltje we use the Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme Startblokken. Through play we stimulate each child’s broad development: we look at what they enjoy and at their talents. Every child is unique and learns in their own way. Our experienced pedagogical staff give personal attention and guide the children in small, same-age groups, so every child has space to grow at their own pace. The open, creative spaces in our centre invite exploration and making. We have separate nap rooms where children can rest quietly after a morning full of impressions. Being located inside De Lettertuin, we benefit from a warm, safe school environment with a pleasant atmosphere. At ’t Kruimeltje we believe in short, intensive mornings or afternoons that fit perfectly with the world of toddlers. We therefore only offer half-day care, so children are not overloaded and can talk about their adventures at home. Our focus is entirely on the toddler age; we are not a daycare for babies or after-school care for school-age children.
